Routines are natural. Days, Nights, Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring, whole universe is based on routines. So, sooner you can get your kid to the routines, better he/she will be.
Sleeping on right time, waking up at the right time. Eating breakfast, Lunch, Dinner at the right times. Drinking water periodically etc. etc.
But, before you try to set your kid in routine, you need to first do the same. You need to sleep at right time, wake up right time, eat at right times, drink water periodically.
Three simple healthy routine I advocate are:
- Sleep 8+ hours
- Drink 8 glasses of water
- Get 30+ minutes of exercise
