The first step is of-course to want to become a Dad. You need to ask yourself why do you want to be a Dad?
So, why would you want to be a Dad?
Here are some reasons you might consider.
- To carry your gene, family forward.
- You can tell bedtime stories to your kids.
- You can play soccer, basketball with your kids.
- Your kids might take care of you when you get old. (Nepalese thinking)
- You can brag about your kids to your friends and family.
- You can leave your inheritance to your kids.
- People might think you have some medical issues if you don’t have kids.
- You can let your kids do things which you couldn’t do it yourself
- It is just a human nature
- Your parents wanted grand kids
- Your wife wanted kids
- Peer pressure: All your friends have kids
- It just completes family and along bringing back your childhood
- You want someone to call you Dad n you need someone to do a pat but also you want your credit money a bit longer to pay back.
- It is the emotional bond that you develop with next generation and you impart as much as you can to that generation. While doing so, you get help while you leave this world.
- To pass on you family heritage and traditions.
